China Bra Size Charts

Finding the perfect bra can often feel like navigating a maze, especially with the diverse sizing standards around the world. In this guide, we focus on demystifying China’s bra size charts. We’ve got you covered every step of the way and made size charts for every scenario. Let’s unlock the secrets together!

How to Measure Your Bust

Step 1: Prepare Your Tape

Secure a soft measuring tape. It should be flexible for the most accurate measurements. Stand in front of a mirror, which helps in maintaining the correct posture during measurement.

Step 2: Measure Your Band

Measure your band

Stand upright with a relaxed posture. Place the measuring tape around your ribcage, just under your bust. Ensure it’s horizontal and snug. Exhale and inhale naturally, and take the measurement. Write it down.

Step 3: Measure Your Bust

Postures to measure your bust

Measuring the fullest part of your bust may require a little special posture. Bend forward (or stand upright with a non-padded bra) to make sure your bust is at its fullest. Keep the tape firm but not tight. Note down the measurement and its difference with your band measurement. The difference = The number you get from Step 3 – The number you get from Step 2.

China Bra Cup Size Chart

Your cup size depends on the difference between your band and bust measurements. Here’s the chart:

Difference = Fullest Part of Bust – Band Measurement Under Bust
Cup SizeDifference (cm)Difference (inches)
AA0 - 7.50.0 - 2.95
A7.5 - 102.95 - 3.94
B10 - 12.53.94 - 4.92
C12.5 - 154.92 - 5.91
D15 - 17.55.91 - 6.89
E17.5 - 206.89 - 7.87
F20 - 22.57.87 - 8.86

When using this chart, please mind that:

  • If the difference between your bust and band measurements falls between two cup sizes, it’s generally better to choose the larger size. It will allow room for natural changes in your bust size. Suppose the difference is 15 cm, which is between C and D. It is better to choose a D cup.
  • Different styles and brands may fit differently. It’s worth trying on several types to find the best fit for your body.

Comprehensive China Bra Size Chart

Now that you have found your cup size in China, you can get your complete bra size by combining cup size with band measurement:

Additionally, some China bra sizes may mix UK band measurements with the measurements above. For example, if you see a 36/80C bra size in China, it means 80C in the China size chart above and 36C in the UK bra size. Their corresponding relationship is as follows:

China Band SizeBand Measurement (cm)UK Band SizeBand Measurement (inches)
6563-673026-28
7068-723228-30
7573-773430-32
8078-823632-34
8583-873834-36
9088-924036-38
9593-974238-40
10098-1024440-42
105103-1074642-44

You may notice that the number of inches cannot be directly converted to the number of centimeters in this chart. For example, 26-28 inches should be about 66-71 centimeters, not 63-67 cm in this table. You are right. That’s an important difference between UK bra size and China bra size measurements. In the UK, band sizes are slightly larger than the actual band measurement (the number we get from Step 2). However, in China, band sizes are directly based on the measurement result.

China Bra Size Chart with S, M, L Sizes

In China, there are also some bra sizes labeled as S, M, L, XL, etc. These letters are very confusing because they don’t have a strict standard. We can only organize them in a blurry way:

LetterChina Bra Sizes
S65A, 65B, 65C, 65D, 70A, 70B
M70C, 70D, 75A, 75B, 75C, 75D
L80A, 80B, 80C, 80D, 85A, 85B
XL85C, 85D, 90A, 90B, 90C, 90D

If you favor a bra with this size system, we highly recommend you try this bra in person before making the purchase.
